Project Terms & Conditions

Scope of Work

This proposal includes fabrication and materials specifically listed herein. Any items or services not expressly included are excluded from this proposal. Pricing excludes electrical work, low-voltage wiring, carpentry, blocking, painting, patching, and other trades unless specifically noted. Motorized shade and drapery systems may require access to power, charging, Wi-Fi, hubs, or third-party integrations. Electrical work and smart-home programming are not included unless specifically listed. Any changes requested after approval of specifications, materials, or fabrication drawings may result in additional charges and schedule adjustments.


Installation & Delivery

Installation is not included unless specifically listed as a separate line item. Installation pricing, if required, will be provided separately. Delivery, shipping, freight, and receiving charges are not included unless specifically noted and will be invoiced separately as applicable. Client is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to all work areas. Additional labor required due to site conditions, restricted access, construction delays, or unforeseen circumstances may result in additional charges.


Warranty, Insurance, and Liability

Picnic House Drapers warrants workmanship for one year from installation or delivery. Manufacturer warranties apply to fabrics, hardware, motors, and other supplied products. Picnic House Drapers maintains general liability insurance. Liability for any claim arising from this project shall be limited to the value of the products and services provided under this invoice. Picnic House Drapers is not responsible for defects, shortages, dye lot variations, performance issues, or delays associated with customer-supplied materials. Pricing is based on measurements provided by the client unless a site measure by Picnic House Drapers has been completed. Client-provided measurements are subject to verification prior to fabrication. Picnic House Drapers assumes no responsibility for inaccuracies in client-supplied measurements.


Payment Terms

A 50% deposit on labor and 100% material cost is required to initiate ordering and production. Remaining balance is due prior to delivery or installation unless otherwise agreed in writing. Lead time begins upon receipt of all required materials, approved specifications, and deposit. Estimated production time is approximately 8 weeks unless otherwise noted.
